人間包參展 2009 高雄縣偶戲藝術節

就在我們在夢想社區作長頸鹿燈籠的同時,
高雄縣偶戲藝術節邀請我們參展, 屬於當代偶類別.

元宵節, 長頸鹿巨燈製作.

元宵燈節, 我們與夢想社區一起策畫一個活動, 想給住戶們一個美好的夜晚.
很值得一提的,是我們想辦法把觀眾也變成演員, 打破舞台與文化藩籬,
把

劇場, 巴西風格嘉年華遊行, 提燈夜遊, 放天燈, 燈籠工作坊, 吃元宵

全都兜在一起拉！！

事件緣起的條件有:

1. 要想一個回家團圓的應景故事
2. 結合夢想社區原有的森巴鼓隊,
3. 結合基金會辣森巴OL
4. 結合住戶們想作燈籠的製作欲與表演欲.
5. 從籌備到上演, 只有10天左右
6. 結合元宵習俗.

為了讓活動有主體性, 我們用一個秀串起所有事件, 把起點放在夢想社區,
在其中的一個半小時內大家都必須跟著演員們的腳步, 直到金龍湖畔才能
看見這個秀的故事結局. 而所謂的社區燈籠工作坊, 所作的燈籠正是這齣
秀的演出道具, 當然也為了元宵燈節, 製作人都成了演員.

這是一個小斑馬要回家的故事, 為什麼主角是小斑馬呢？ 因為,

歐巴馬勝選了！！！

當然不是這個原因, 不過基金會倒是頗巧妙的把活動名稱取為:
"歐~巴馬不見了 ！！", 很切合時事也協了斑馬與巴馬的音. 話說回來,
主角是小斑馬的真正原因, 是因為小猴子要作一個主花燈,
那什麼動物最顯眼呢？ 長頸鹿應該夠高夠大夠強眼了,
而斑馬的棲息地正與長頸鹿相同（想起來了吧, 非洲大草原上班馬與長頸鹿
同時出現在夕陽下的美麗畫面.）. 所以班馬可與長頸鹿互搭. 畫面才不突兀.

另外Adam總是回想起夢想社區從前的樣子, 在築成高樓前, 是稻田;
養羊,雞,牛,鴨,兔子... 所以, 故事的一開始是一位老先生與一隻水牛
(由住戶所作的花燈), 站在成山的稻稈堆前, 在月下自言自語:

"嗯﹋新年到了, 在夢想社區裡, 與我的朋友鄰居們一起過年,
我的心裡感覺很溫暖."

“看看這隻由我們住戶所作的水牛花燈, 讓我想起不久以前, 這裡曾有真的水牛
就站在這片土地上左顧右盼, 這裡曾是一望無邊的稻田啊."

"想起我小時後,在夏日的午後我老是會溜到稻稈堆裡睡覺"

最後一樁去年的事, 是夢想社區說想作一隻會噴火的動物,
適用於晚上的遊行使用,
Adam一直很喜歡牛這樣感覺謙遜的動物, 也聽說了台灣人對牛的特殊情感,
剛好, 牛年來了, 他說那就作一隻火牛吧！！

圓滾滾的身驅, 想要卡通化不過一開始總被大家說成豬,
本來打算來個粉紅牛不過一上色就連我們都看不下去了,
即使時間緊迫還是重新上色,
還是作頭暖色系的火牛吧！

另外為了這隻火牛我們與夢想社區一起策畫了隆重搞笑的噴火儀式,
為他們12/27晚上的聖誕party揭開序目.
難過的是我不小心把噴火儀式的影片檔搞丟,
真的,我看我牛年真的要去安太歲......

另外感謝小六與袁小弟幫忙糊紙, 肛溫啦！

2008.7 社區藝術嘉年華～紙『偶』奇遇記

不好意思, 現在才上來寫去年的事情.

去年七月時受到高雄市前金區長城社區的邀請,進行了一連串面具工作坊課程,
首先在高雄市第一社區大學與一些學生與長城社區居民利用20小時製作簡單的小型面具,
接著協助長城社區完成他們歌仔戲所需要的大型面具與道具
除了他們的戲劇成果發表會外, 在七月份的世運遊行也派上用場.

他們超認真的啦, 阿公阿媽一邊糊紙一邊唱歌很可愛耶.!

這麼簡單幾個字, 背後有莫大的辛苦阿, 怎麼會有母親可以一人把六個小孩帶大的？
我們是兩個人人仰馬翻的讓小孩隨叫隨到,,,我的媽媽咪呀~~~

17世紀 鄭成功與荷蘭人小丑面具 / 17th CENTURY DUTCH CLOWNs.

Although Ren Jian Bao puppet theater is officially on hiatus, we thought it would be fun to teach this workshop at the Chia Nan University in Tainan County. The students are going to go up to Taipei this month to participate in the big Dream Parade, and me and Yuchi helped them create their parade team. We made 9 big masks and a bunch of props. I've been reading up on Taiwan history, so the concept is based on local Tainan history--a team of giant head 17th century dutch clowns. They arrive in Tainan in 1624 and start doing what the 17th century dutch did best--build forts, bully the locals, buy and sell stuff, try to tax everyone they can, and teach their stupid religion to the aboriginals. Our big head dutch have a cow with them pulling a cart full of big blocks which they use to build a fort, and then Jheng Chenggong shows up and boots their asses outta here in 1662. We made all this stuff in just 8 days. I'm really proud of these kids--I taught them a lot of new stuff, using a lot of unfamiliar materials--they had never done anything like this before, and we really made some beautiful things and had a lot of fun. They are going to have a really strong parade team with lots of history and lots of shtick. Ja yo!

雖然我們搬家了,也不作戲, 不過前兩天剛結束一個工作坊,
幫助嘉南藥理大學的學生, 在短短短短短八天內,
設計了他們要去台北夢想嘉年華遊行的主題.
以台南歷史鄭成功趕跑荷蘭人為故事. 做了面具服裝等等.

很短ㄋㄟ, 才八天ㄋㄟ, 學生每天利用晚上到午夜做的,
而且他們完全沒有經驗, 第一次接觸玉米粉的魔力.
但很可愛不是嗎！？

Hi. Maybe you were wondering what is going on with the Ren Jian Bao puppet theater. Well, we've taken a little hiatus. Me and Yuchen have moved down to Tainan City to have a baby. Here--I drew this picture about it:



There are a couple of things in the drawing that bear explanation. The chinese character on the sign with the arrow is nan which means south. And the caveman with the mohawk and the uke is speaking spanish--he's saying, "Baby, don't complain. You see--that's what happens to you for sleeping without panties. You pig!" Ha ha. Also note another thing about this drawing--check out how much Yuchen's titties have grown since she got pregnant! What luck! If I had known about this before I would have started knocking chicks up a long time ago. Listen, if you are lucky enough to have a nice girlfriend or boyfriend, why don't you get off your computer and go fuck now--without a condom. You can always come back and read this later.

So anyway, now me and Yuchi are enjoying life in Tainan City, and find ourselves very busy with lots of heavy nesting.

Meanwhile, Tomas, our favorite Mexican, has gone off to make giant puppets in france with a bunch of frenchmen. Fucking gabachos! Anyway, he's hoping to learn a lot of new skills from these guys, and we expect him back in March. We miss you, Tomas! Come back soon!

The baby will be popping out real soon, and then we'll have a new little puppeteer on our team. And we'll keep you posted on our new shows and activities as they come up.

以人間包的立場我們覺得這齣戲是適合全齡觀賞.不過再這齣戲裡包含了人偶暴力,人偶殺戮,人偶強暴,血腥,嘔吐.對墨西哥原住民文化的摧毀,還有說話不乾淨的豬.

又有觀眾“落跑“ :o

前幾天，有對夫婦與他們的小孩很喜歡La Llorona這齣戲於是出資邀我們
去立人國小演出，有兩班的小朋友與他們的老師一起來觀賞. 他們的英文
老師是住在南非的白人. 戲才看到一半, 他們兩位就跑了, 據說臉上的神情
也不好看. 是看到哪一段呢, 是看到La Llorona被一位西班牙士兵強姦,
耶穌在一旁“顯靈“的那一段, 事後家長跟我說, 那兩位是虔誠的教徒, 且剛好
與歐洲殖民南非的情況相仿. 於是他們看不下去了......

；o

不過, 總之, 謝謝這對開明有趣的夫婦, 這位先生很有趣, 他是位婦產科醫生,
據說他太太有第一胎時, 他可是緊張的不得了, “每一天“都照超音波看自己
的小孩喔......

偶(嘔)戲欣賞(1).-The Copulating Mermaid of Venice, California

看完後, 可以有句很棒的title是:

這齣戲正是我們之前在人間包小電影週放的影片之一,
是亞當在美國911那年後所作的秀,
well, it's nothing to do with 911 tough.

劇名叫 "在加州的威尼斯與美人魚相幹" -
故事依照 查爾斯.布考司基 的原著來演. 台灣也有出版, 這個短篇收錄在
“ 進去. 出來. 結束“ 裡. 戲裡的兩個酒鬼他們發現了一個女屍於是把她帶
回家@%..*&%.,我們分不清這個個故事到底是悲傷還是有趣, 不管如何, 當
這齣偶戲在西雅圖演出時幾乎被觀眾噓下台. 呴, 好像真的挺噁心的.

不過巧的是我書看得很少, 卻偏偏對這個短篇印象深刻,
我說這是個很悲傷的故事, Tony雖是個無賴卻懂浪漫也有真性情.

The Foreskin Show:

A multi-media world culture tour featuring puppets,
punk rock, videoand other suprises. The tour takes
us back to ancient china with a ballad about Monkey
King's rebellion in Heaven, then we travel to Mexico
with a mariachi song about a poor drunk guy minding
his own business who gets beat up by the cops.
And we even throw in some Dolly Parton material.

Our feature presentation: "The Foreskin Show" or
"Bao Pi Pi Bao" explores the fascinating and bizarre world
of ritual circumcision, and our crack team of investigative
reporters uncover a secret insidious anti-sex conspiracy
with its offices right here in Taipei City. The plot centers
around a group of child terrorists who are kidnapping baby
boys from hospitals and jewish homes around the world to
save their foreskins from circumcision. What these children
don't know is that there is big money being made in the
illegal trade of foreskins on the black market, and powerful
people with a vested interest in the continued popularity of
circumcision.

theater to take a shit all the time. At first everyone thought this
was kind of weird, but then we realized that it's because white guys
hate to squat when they shit. Ha ha!

Ryan says, "It's the best bathroom in Taiwan!"
